my love for fashion meets my love for the camera .

Discovering this perfect pair for myself, I wanted to share it. I started a fashion magazine club and it Turns out there were many people itching to create ~ in style~

This project had a few steps to it. First, the photo shoot with my models. Knowing that I would be decorating their ‘outfits’ by using food, I needed everything to be evenly lit. I also incorporated some accessories to make each portrait unique and fashionable. Using a high resolution scanner, I meticulously placed various foods on top of the portrait prints to create the photos below!

The main idea was to dress up a ton of models to ‘the 9’s’ and have two flash photographers acting as paparazzi while we all pile on the public bus to take pictures. Sort of like a flash mob! You never know who you’ll find on a bus, so I played with character creation in determining the outfits and occasion in which my models may be going on the bus for. I wanted to throw myself (and other creatives) into a performative form of photography on the bus. Then we hit the town to add depth to the characters I’ve created in my models and their distinct styles.
